Snowfall cancelled all flights, and had people taking pictures that might not repeat for a while at the sights and hotels las vegas has to offer.

There were over 3 inches expected to accumulate overnight calling a snow day for all school-age kids allowing them to stay home and have a go at the new fallen snow.

People were catching snowflakes with their tounges outside of popular places like the Tropicana Casino, the MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Hotel, The Wynn, and the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas as well the world famous Fabulous Las Vegas Sign.

The upside is that this was one of the best vacations las vegas could have offered but the downside was at McCarran Internation Airport, which was taken to a halt. It remains open but many flights are being affected.

This is a desert city so many of the roads around Las Vegas, where the snowfall was to reach 10 inches are also closed until the weather improves.
