Britney Spears Goes Teetotal…
Now there’s a title we never thought we’d write! This time last year we really didn’t think Britney Spears would ever be able to turn her messed up life around but time after time she continues to repeatedly surprise everyone. The other day we spotted her picking up her son Jayden from pre-school and it made us realise just how far the troubled pop star has come since the days of booze driving and man-handling.

Along with fulfilling her motherly duties we hear that in a desperate bid to regain her former figure Britney has banished booze from her diet. ‘She has decided to give up drinking alcohol, because not only does it cause weight gain but she wants to be on the ball.’ Since ditching alcohol Britney has lost a whopping10lb and can’t wait for the rehearsals for her world tour to begin in January.
Still Maybe Possibly Pregnant…
Last week we were a little shocked to hear reports that Brit’s little sis had gone and got herself knocked up again. In case you somehow missed the story it was claimed that despite giving birth to Maddie Briann just four months ago, ‘Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical.’
However, before the news had even begun to sink in ‘an unimpeachable source’ stepped up to strongly deny the claims and perhaps it had something to do with the word ‘unimpeachable’ but believed them.

But just like every good Britney Spears story that wasn’t to be the end of it. A family member has now been speaking to an American magazine and they’re claiming the pregnancy rumours are most definitely true and the denials ‘are simply buying the Spears family time until they decide what to do.’ Apparently, Lynne went ballistic when she heard and ’she’s livid the news leaked out, especially during her book tour.’
So who do you believe?? The family member or the peachy source?
Britney: ‘What The Hell Was I Thinking?’
Troubled star Britney Spears has spoken about her very public meltdown for the first time in a documentary which will be aired on MTV on November 30th – two days before the release of her new album.
The 90-minute film features behind-the-scenes footage of the Womanizer singer talking about her life over the past two years. Surely this will be the televisual event of the year, if not the century?! Take a look at the preview and tell us what you think.

Britney’s Going Back To Court…
Yesterday we caught up with Britney Spears shopping in West Hollywood like she didn’t have a care in the world, but unfortunately that’s not the case because it’s just been announced that the singer will appear in court next week to face charges of misdemeanour driving without a licence! The charges stem from an incident in 2007 in which the songstress hit a parked car in Los Angeles and left without notifying the owner. She was originally cited for hit-and-run and driving without a licence, but the hit-and-run charges were dropped.
A year later and Britney was offered the opportunity of avoiding a messy trial with a plea deal, which would have put her on a one-year probation and required her to pay a $150 fine. But Britney’s lawyer has rejected the offer, so we’ll be seeing her in court next week! Is it wrong that we’re oddly excited about that? Wait a second, don’t answer that question…
